The Cowgirl walked outta of Kansas Territories when she was just a kid.
Thats just how her story starts myFriend. That aint the end.
The Cowgirl set out on her adventures alone. These are them stories.
Herstories err yours too, because these here Glitch Western tales are told for you.
Now, since yawl are wander’N, heres where it all ends, as foretold:
“You got to keep going, never fear’n and never a’fraid.” with those words, The Cowgirl put down her pen and reached up to tip her hat at the words, like as if to say... but there werent no hat on her head. So she smiled instead, look’n across the way at the room where she stayed, where the worn-in hat now hung, next to her coat, by the door, for when it gets cold nights or when she feels like dust’n off and riding out. But truth be told, they weren't much ride’n or adventure’n anymore, not these days, not for many a’reason.
Forty-five years later is a good time to recollect. And now all those stories got recorded. Got made up and writ down. Mayhaps even constituting a bit of reconciliation, to sleep a bit more peaceful nights, God will’n.
So she folded up that page of paper writing, at first ambiently, thinking of the colors of the sky (purple, and red, and yellow, sunsets, and clouds). And then, as she folded, with increasing attention to detail, she folded that piece of paper with her worn out hands, her last lines scrolled down on it, folding it into an ever increasingly more complex shape, like a hat, or a boat, or ...with one more fold to make an envelope, to write herself a letter, to send to herself a message, (not forward, and not back) that read: Never fear’n. Never a’fraid.
